232. Shopping app from Google and Meta to boost sales at retail stores

What if Google or Facebook (Meta) creates a shopping app, so people who visit a retail store get coupons, or $1, or marketing-on-the fly like "buy this product now, $5 discount", then people get paid to visit their local retail store like Walmart. And if Walmart wants 1,000 people to visit their local store today, they pay $1,000 and brings in $10,000ds of revenues per day for the retail store. So instead of paying $1 for visiting a retail online store website, they pay $1 to get someone to physically be present for shopping at the retail store (with GPS location). That has much greater return on revenue. Google and Meta promote retail stores, not only online stores. That's billions of revenues for Google or Meta when they promote physical retail stores, that's the equivalent of a metaverse for retail stores. People can drive around town and visit stores and get the latest promotions on their smartphone, also when they are inside the store.
